Alumni Segmentation Clusters:
The Entiera Alumni Segmentation Clusters are a revolutionary new way of viewing, understanding and working with your alumni. The Alumni Segmentation Clusters are created by:
- Appending Entiera Marketing Universe data (e.g. , demographic, lifestyle, lifestage and other data) to your individual alumnus
- Performing a mathematical clustering algorithm which clusters your alumni into one of 5 unique and distinct clusters (segments) based upon like demographic, lifestyle and lifestage attributes
- Overlaying, or profiling, these clusters with your own internal data about each alumni (e.g. , college of graduation, year of graduation, degree(s), donation history)
The value proposition of the Alumni Segmentation Clusters is that it provides you with an entirely new way of viewing your alumni. Instead of viewing alumni at a static point in time (1987 College of Engineering graduate), you now view your alumni based upon their current demographic, lifestyle and lifestage characteristics. The result is significantly improved messaging, communications and ultimately engagement of your alumni base.
Propensity to Give and Wealth Scoring:
Entiera uses its own revolutionary Entiera-KXEN modeling technology to create custom propensity to give and wealth scores for your alumni and donor base.
Propensity to Give Scoring: these scores are based upon regression modeling using historical donor behavior to create a future, propensity to give score. The score can be used in the AlumniDashboard to select the highest propensity individuals to contact for fundraising campaigns and to potentially limit contacts to very low propensity to give individuals. Both actions have the ability to decrease the costs, while also significantly increase the response of your marketing efforts.
Wealth Scoring: The wealth scoring using income, disposable income and net worth indicators to create a composite "wealth score" for each alumni and donor. The wealth score acts as a measure of capacity to give and can be used for a variety of contact management, screening and communications tailoring purposes.
